Welcome to ACD

First there was SCD (Stakeholder-centered Design). Then, in the eighties, Donald Norman introduced the concept of UCD, User-centered Design.

Apple doesn’t employ this methodology however…

…they use something called ACD; Apple-centered Design. It goes something like this: take a well-established UI pattern that accomplishes the task in one click (✖️), and change it to two clicks.
