The Firearm is Dead. Long Live the Firearm.

People are dead. And firearms are dead as a result. The days of the gun are over. The Smartgun is the future of firearms.

It’s simple, and like most simple things, it’s way over the head of many people. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. And when the gun is smart enough not to let one person kill another (or, say, 17) then we’ve done our due diligence.

This is what the NRA doesn’t get. Instead of using money to buy off politicians, use it to do research into producing a weapon that’s smarter than its user. Because, let’s face it; most people aren’t smart enough to drive a car safely, let alone carry a gun. Just ask the designers of autonomous vehicles.
