Moving Away from Medium

I’ve been blogging on Medium for quite a while now. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s dead.

“Content is King”, Bill Gates once said. And content comes from writers, who often suffer from “Writer’s Block”. This is why it’s so valuable to have the ability to work in the moment, when you have “flow”. In the past, Medium has allowed you to do that. But sadly no more as they have removed the ability to create content from their mobile app.

User Experience design is a difficult concept for many to wrap their minds around. Even folks who have been practicing User Experience for quite some time often misunderstand many of its metholdologies. So it’s understandable how Medium and transformed its blogging platform into one medium-sized dark pattern. They just don’t understand. Forgive them, for that know that what they do.

So, Until they figure it out, I’ll be moving to other online publishing platform. Farewell, Medium, it was nice while it lasted.
